Exploring the goodness of MapReduce, Hive & Spark

Experience level - Beginner to Intermediate

Pre-requisites - Should have experience with Java and persistence. Exposure to Hadoop, is nice to have.

System requirements - A laptop with ssh-client installed, though this ssh-client you will scp (deploy) and run Map-Reduce or Spark programs.
You must also have local java development environment setup (JDK 1.7 installed).
