Timisoara Mobile Development Group Meetup

The regular November meetup of the Timisoara Mobile Development Group will include in its agenda presentation of apps developed by the local branch of Frontier Silicon (http://www.frontier-silicon.com/) a cutting edge engineering company and also the winning app of the recent HackTM (http://www.HackTM.ro) hackathon.

Frontier Silicon’s Undok app, developed and presented here by Amalia Pirvanescu (https://www.meetup.com/TiMoDev/members/50783352/)'s team, provides the most complete, versatile and easy-to-use multi-room controller for next generation connected audio systems.

The app offers comprehensive remote control functionality for FS based audio modules with an iOS or Android smart device. Dependent on the capabilities of the connected speaker it enables users to navigate between audio modes, browse content and control playback volume on standalone devices or multi-room groups. The application synchronizes automatically with the speaker, so you can switch easily between using the speaker’s controls and those of the Undok app.

The second presentation to be delivered by Story Doodle creators, Vali Iftime (https://www.meetup.com/TiMoDev/members/14465149/) and Alin-Adnan Vasile will bring us closer to the world of fairy tails. The app is an interactive ebook interactiv combining the tale's text with dynamically presented images, depending the content on the current page.

The user has the possibility to arrange and colour the images in order to create illustrations and transform any text in an exportable and shareable coloring book. In order to extend the usage also to non reading capable kids, the app also includes text-to-speech features.

As usual, participants are kindly invited to contribute 15 RON for assuring the snacks and beverages for the event breaks.
