Hope everyone had a great holiday weekend! Did some serious grilling this weekend, perfecting my grilled potato scramble and my grilled pizza. Nothing comes between me and my charcoal!
On an interesting note, the charcoal briquette we know today came from a gentleman who worked at one of the Ford plants as he pondered what to do with the scrap hardwood left over from making the rag-top bracket for the Model-T.
He love of camping and cooking outdoors with the Mr. Ford and the rest of the gang so much that it lead to charcoal that proved so popular that after 1950 you could purchase it anywhere...not just Ford dealerships.
It seems Mr. Kingsford hit on a novel idea!
Do you know where that famous Webber grill came from? Come on out Wednesday and you'll find out!
