Toastmasters is a non-profit which has been helping people improve their public speaking, communication and leadership skills since 1924. Club members and visitors get the opportunity to speak in front of the group, in a fun and supportive learning environment. Anyone and everyone is welcome to attend!

Come Home to Humorous Toastmasters for the Holidays
Pier 57, 15th St @ the West Side, New York, NY, USThe holiday season is well underway! It is a most festive time of the year, one to share with friends and family. But amidst all the hubbub, please don't forget about your Humorous Toastmasters family!
We will be meeting on Wednesday, December 10th to help ring in the season with humor and great camaraderie, so please join us! It is important to connect and laugh, and this is the time for us to celebrate with one another.
We will be meeting at Pier 57 (address below), located in Hudson River Park between Little Island and the Chelsea Piers. Please follow the directions for the Oyster classroom. PLEASE NOTE THAT DUE TO THE PROXIMITY TO CHRISTMAS, WE HAVE CANCELLED OUR DECEMBER 24TH MEETING. AS A RESULT, OUR DECEMBER 10TH MEETING WILL BE OUR ONLY MEETING FOR THE MONTH OF DECEMBER.

We are unique among New York Toastmasters clubs in that in addition to the typical Toastmasters meeting segments such as prepared speeches, Table Topics and speech evaluations, we also offer an Improv segment that is a lot of fun and which everyone can participate in.

Directions:
By Subway, take the A, C, E or L train to 14th Street. The train will leave you off on 8th Avenue. From there, walk west to the West Side Highway and 15th Street,
By Bus, take the M14, M20, or M11 bus to 14th Street and then walk to the West Side Highway.
