About us
Toastmasters is a non-profit which has been helping people improve their public speaking, communication and leadership skills since 1924. Club members and visitors get the opportunity to speak in front of the group, in a fun and supportive learning environment. Anyone and everyone is welcome to attend!

It's Coming Up Roses at Humorous Toastmasters
Pier 57, 15th St @ the West Side, New York, NY, USAfter a long hard and snowy winter, spring is finally here! And there is no better way to celebrate the fact than at Humorous Toastmasters, where it's always coming up roses! And if not the flowers themselves, then certainly the humor and good-will shared at our meetings will be budding! So please come to our next Humorous Toastmasters on Wednesday, April 22nd, and start cultivating your spring crop of humor!
Our next meeting will take place between 6:30 - 8:00, at Pier 57 (address below), located in Hudson River Park between Little Island and the Chelsea Piers. Please follow the directions for the Oyster classroom.
Pier 57 is a dynamic and vibrant location, with lots of attractions in addition to Humorous Toastmasters. Register HereWe are unique among New York Toastmasters clubs in that in addition to the typical Toastmasters meeting segments such as prepared speeches, Table Topics and speech evaluations, we also offer an Improv segment that is a lot of fun and which everyone can participate in.

Directions:
By Subway, take the A, C, E or L train to 14th Street. The train will leave you off on 8th Avenue. From there, walk west to the West Side Highway and 15th Street,
By Bus, take the M14, M20, or M11 bus to 14th Street and then walk to the West Side Highway.
