2nd Tokyo OpenStack Meetup at VMware

Details

Welcome to our group's second meetup! VMware stepped up as our host, and they also treat us with drinks/beer and pizza - thank you!

Everyone is welcome to join us. Feel free to tell your co-workers and friends as well and RSVP ASAP. To find us, come to the VMware Hamamatucho office (https://www.vmware.com/ap/company/office_locations/office_japan) and find us in the seminar room on the 13 floor.

Schedule:
18:30 Doors Open
19:00 Welcome
19:05 Session #1: "OpenStack Congress and policy language" by Motonori Shindo, VMware
19:30 Session #2: "How VXLAN works on Linux - Basic mechanism and application to OpenStack and Docker" by Etsuji Nakai, Red hat
19:55 Session #3: "NFV related features in OpenStack (Nova, Neutron and Ceilometer)" by Ryota Mibu, NEC
20:20 Thanks & Next Meetup
20:30 Open Discussion / Networking & Drinks / Food
21:30 End (or go to some bar, if desired)

So, that's 20 minutes for the presentation and 5 minutes for questions each. We won't be very strict about the schedule, so rather expect us to finish a little bit later if you want to make plans for afterwards.

If you'd like to fill the empty session spot or speak at a future meetup, please get in touch with Sandro Mathys and tell him what you'd like to talk about. Also, possible hosts for future meetups are always welcome. We appreciate all the support from everyone!

Looking forward to meeting everyone and enjoying some interesting technical sessions and discussions (as well as drinks and pizza)!
