Rust Meetup #5

Rust Meetup #5 is finally here. The location has changed, but we'll be within a walking distance from Shibuya station again.

This time we'll have a stricter schedule to ensure there's time left for free talk & networking as well. Depending on the venue the event may go on for longer if enough people want to stay, or alternatively we may go out for drinks and food after.

Fixed schedule:

• 19:30-19:35 Enter the venue and get comfortable.

• 19:35-19:40 Event starts. Introductions and snack grabbing!

• 19:40-19:50 Why Rust? Let's brainstorm a compact answer to this question for when you want to sell Rust to your team (and to our new members)! Still don't know any Rust? You'll have a better idea after this talk.

• 19:50-20:00 This Week in Rust quick recap without focusing on any particular item for too long.

• 20:00-20:05 Short prep & snack & networking break.

• 20:05-20:15 Talk slot 1: In depth with one or two selected items from This Week in Rust. Comment below if you'd be especially interested in seeing something get covered. Or do the same if you'd like to be the one to cover it!

• 20:15-20:30 Talk slot 2: Rust on ARM (part 2) by Simo. Comment below if you'd like to have this slot for the next event.

• 20:30-21:00 Freestyle. Activities can include snacking, networking, freeform talks and discussion. Comment below if you'd like to present something more officially (max length 15min).
