Greetings!

After a successful first Tokyo NetTuesday meetup(7/28) with 23 participants, I feel the power of such keywords like "web/socialmedia", "social change/social entrepreneurship", and "global".

In order to keep up the momentum and for those who could not make it last time, I would like to set an date and rough theme for the 2nd NetTuesday as follows.

-Date&Time: 8/25 19:30 -

-Place: Towncryer(Kamiya Cho)

-Cost: 1,000 yen for food while you order drink at your own

-Theme:Tips for biulding a successful online community
*casual self-introduction, and sharing success/failure stories running online community at your NPO, alumni, circle, etc...

NetTuesday is......a face-to-face, salon-type event which usually happens on Tuesday every month, bringing together like-minded people, inspirational speakers, and a few good drinks.

NetSquared(www.netsquared.org) is San Fransisco-based NPO, a group of global communities for those who have interest and passion in social change and social media technologies such as SNS, blog, twitter, etc to empower NPOs, social entrepreneurs.
This is the pre-launch gathering- so we don't have any guest speaker or any big agenda.

If you would like to meet a like-minded people who share your intereste in the following, you are most welcome to come!

-those who believe in the potential power of socialmedia to "change the world"
-those who are or have interest in keywords such as social entrepreneur or NPO.
-those who enjoy meeting other people with diverse background(nationality, professional, gender, age)

We can chat things you would like to see happening through this communities, plan future event while drinking tasty beer
