But none of them can compare with the beauty and artistry of the games which have been with us for thousands of years - namely chess, backgammon and Go (Wei Chi). The three have an intrinsic beauty which can be best described as an art form.
The Ancient Games Night at the Time Capsule Cafe will offer an opportunity to see the three games played at the highest level. There will also be sets available for friendly 'pick up' matches for anyone inclined to join in. There is no admission fee except you will need a $5 food/drink ticket to purchase on arrival. There is space enough for some 50 or 60 gamers and also kitchen service and licensed bar available.
