The Firecrackers Present: Nudie Blues Redux

To people who have been coming to The Firecrackers' shows for a long time, it's no secret that we love the blues. Our second show ever was called "The Nudie Blues" and it remains one of our all-time favourites. All it was missing was our favourite globetrotting blues and jazz-lover, Li'l Relly, who was off on an adventure Down Under. We've decided to rectify that by doing a remount with a twist: all new guest performers and 100% more Li'l Relly!

The blues, much like burlesque, means many things to many people. You'll hear the full range of bluesy styles at this show - including the blues' bastard child, rock n' roll - and see how this most influential form of music inspires a group of burlesque beauties to express themselves in their own unique ways. There are no rules at this show - with a blues show, the only certainty is this: the songs and performances you'll experience will be sexy, powerful expressions of the soul.
