A book club about Terry Pratchett's Discworld series where fans can meet monthly to share annotations, reviews, adulations, favourite quotes from all of the 36+ novels of the series.
As Death would say, let it be a "A PLACE WHERE THE FALLING ANGELS MEET THE RISING APES"
Come join us and preety soon you won't be alone in laughing out loud while reading a Discworld novel in public!
Hopefully discussions will verge off to completely (un)related topics and create equally interesting 'polymorphic' tangents about
"Is crime best addressed by legalizing it, regulating it, and allowing thieves and assassins to control theft and murder?"

"Vetinari's private life"
or
"The novel you would suggest to a Pratchett virgin"
Movie screenings, talks for a theatrical production of one of Discworld novels, fundraising events are also so keep checking back for details and in the meantime, spread the word. A $2 charge is kept for each meetup event to cover the cost of keeping this group with meetup.

Since the first screenplay reading of 'Wyrd Sisters' was so much fun, we have decided to hold a second one!
The Truth features the coming of movable type to Ankh-Morpork, and the founding of the Discworld's first newspaper by William de Worde, as he invents investigative journalism with the help of his reporter Sacharissa Cripslock.
I'll make enough copies of the screenplay for everyone but I'll need numbers. Read more
