This event seeks to server BBWs (Big Beautiful Women) who seek career-minded Fun & Handsome Men (FHM). A lady who often considers herself a "BBW" does so because she embraces her curvaceousness, and does not seek to conform to the unhealthy images of women presented by the "mainstream" fashion industry. BBW has also been linked to the "Fat Acceptance" or "Overweight People" acceptance movement.
The men who attend this event should consider themselves to be relatively extroverted and like to explore the city in general or travel. Guys who have social interests from cooking and baking to dancing are also welcome. No "couch potatoes" or guys who work, work, work, and are not into having fun, should attend this event. Be prepared to describe your fun activities when you introduce yourself to other attendees at this event.
The terms "Big Beautiful Women" and "BBW" were coined by Carole Shaw in 1979, when she launched BBW Magazine, a fashion and lifestyle magazine for "plus-size (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plus-size_model)" women.
You are invited to our SECOND group slow dating event at Caffe Demetre in Greektown along the Danforth and less than a block from the Chester stop on TTC subway line . The idea of our events is to facilitate a relaxed and totally no pressure social milieu for young, fun, hip and/or awesome singles to get to know one another.
Caffe Demtre has a great relaxing atmosphere. Fabulous service. The servers have always been down-to-earth. Ice cream has an artisinal quality. Caffe Demetre ice cream is much better than what you can get in the supermarket, including that President's Choice "strawberry ice cream" at Loblaws that does not even use actual strawberries.
