Ruby for Perl Mongers

Dave Doyle: Ruby for Perl Mongers -- Having acquired a new position where I'm learning Ruby, the similarities to Perl are striking. Not a huge surprise considering Matz has oft quoted Perl as an inspiration. This will not be an exhaustive talk, but a quick way to get some answers about basic constructs of Ruby, what's similar, and what's different.
