Greenplum Deep Dive

Happy New Year Everyone!

To kick the year off we will be doing a deep dive on Pivotal's MPP database Greenplum (http://www.pivotal.io/big-data/pivotal-greenplum-database). This will be Part One of our MPP series with HAWQ being the next topic we will cover in a subsequent session.

Our speaker will be MPP Specialist Mujtaba Qadri.

Muji Qadri is a Senior Field Engineer with Pivotal. He has over 16 years of experience in large scale distributed system design. Muji has worked with a variety of distributed technologies, including Greenplum, HAWQ, Hadoop and Teradata, built massively scalable web application for Airlines,Tax & Customs for multiple countries. Recently, he has been focusing on Hadoop and related technologies. Previously he was a Senior Consultant with Teradata and held numerous positions with Agility, Dubai Customs, NCR & Teradata. He holds an MBA in Strategic Management from University of Wales and a Computer Science bachelors. In addition to this he has certifications in Project Management, Agile Scrum, Security and Teradata. In his spare time he likes to play tennis, do photography and go on nature trips with his family.
