Toronto Semantic Group First Meeting

Hello Semantic Web Members!

This is the first meetup for the new Toronto Semantic Group. This event has 2 primary activities:

1) Networking among ourselves, who's who, who's doing what, etc.

2) Presentation on "Semantic Web 101" by Greg Boutin, Founding Partner of Growthroute Ventures, a management consulting firm helping ventures go to market and scale. Greg blogs at SemanticsIncorporated and is a regular Member of the monthly Semantic Web Gang podcast.

Greg and I will have returned from the Web 3.0 Conference in NYC. We will update the group on the latest from this event.

Meetup Schedule:
6PM-6:30PM: Networking on the Terrace (weather permitting, great view)
6:30PM-6:45PM: Group Objectives, Formal Introductions: William Mougayar, Eqentia founder & CEO
6:45PM-7:30PM: Featured Speaker: Greg Boutin, Founding partner of Growthroute Ventures
7:30PM-7:45PM: Open Q&A Session with William Mougayar and Greg Boutin on anything related to the Semantic Web and future topics for the meetup
7:45PM-8:15PM: Networking

Gourmet hors-d’oeuvres and non-alcoholic beverages will be served. (the fee covers it)
