Hello and welcome to an ESL group you have probably never seen before! I’m full of ideas and have 3 years of experience... not as a teacher, but as a newcomer to Canada. So to me, the goal of learning a language is COMMUNICATION – comfortable and expressive, when you can show the best (or maybe not) of your personality and intelligence to people around you. I’ll do my best to really kick you out from a class room to Canada as it is. Besides teaching you SPOKEN English, I’m going to show you some strategies which worked for me and made a whole bunch of people say to me: ‘Your English is superior’.
I’m planning to include tons of listening and speaking, as well as doing all kinds of activities with native speakers I’m going to invite.
As to fees, I’m planning to charge as little as possible, as I’m mostly doing it out of my own passion and interest.
I also have to say that my experience shows it’s better to have your students in the same age group, so I recommend to join my group if you are under 30 years of age.
Can’t wait to see you and start helping you!
E.
