Toxophilites Wanted - The Canadian Toxophilite Society

Are you a Toxophilite? We are looking for archery enthusiasts to join our Facebook group and meetup for "tea and archery" to have a chat about archery, archery equipment, bow making and more.

So if you want to learn archery, are new to archery, have been doing archery for years, sign up with our Facebook group and we hope to see you at our monthly meetups.

Note - There will be no actual archery at this meeting. This will just be a meeting to talk and discuss archery equipment, bow making, etc. Future events may include actual archery, but since some of you don't as yet have archery equipment it makes more sense to have an equipment discussion first.

Our Facebook group is at https://www.facebook.com/groups/archerycanada/

I'd love to participate and learn, but timing is not doable for me. If there are other meetups in the evening, or on the weekend, I'm there.
    Till then, Be Well.

Have to cancel, had no idea this would be at 11am in the day time. I'll still be sleeping. Perhaps if the same event was held in the evening there would be more interest as more people would be available as most people will be working at that time...my2c.

    Hello!
Is there an age range? I just bought my 11 year old daughter a bow from Le Baron's for Christmas. Would she be able to come?
    Thanks.

The first meeting will be at a pub. Depends whether you are okay with her being at a pub with grownups - some of whom may be drinking beer and eating fish n chips.

I just shut down my facebook account a month ago. Would someone care to post a location for this if and when it materializes? I'd also like to know if my 11 year daughter will be able to attend...

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
