Do you love to walk with your baby/child? Do you love to explore our amazing city? Then this Meetup group is for you. It's a great way to get some exercise and to meet other parents.

I will be scheduling walks in different areas of the city. Most walks will end at a family-friendly location, so parents can have a rest and get refreshed... and maybe chat with new friends for just a bit longer!

While I am familiar with the routes and will provide some research beforehand (distance, terrain, etc), for the most part I will be unable to lead these walks. (I returned to the banking world in January after my maternity leave).

I encourage members to volunteer as event hosts or assistant organizers. Please let me know if you are willing to organize some walks and I will set you up as an assistant organizer. Don't be shy! It's as simple as choosing a neighbourhood park and asking people to meet you there. Or think High Park, Beaches, Edwards Gardens... check out some old events from the spring for more ideas.
