It's our pleasure to announce a special meetup for September 23.
This time, we are guests at the beautiful Shopify office, and while Shopify will take care of feeding us :), the meetup team will make sure to feed you with great lessons and talks about web performance.
We'll kick off the meetup with Shopify's very own Bryson Gilbert who will be talking about front end performance at Shopify.

Keeping performance in check on a large site with several development teams is no easy task. It's not only about your tools — it means thinking about the performance implications of each decision you make. In this talk, we'll look at how we use a combination of automated tools and manual processes to keep front end performance in check on Shopify.com.

Bryson Gilbert (@bryg) is a front end developer who wants to make the web work for everyone by focusing on progressive enhancement, performance, and accessibility. After many years spent in agency-land and freelancing, Bryson has found his happy place on the Brand Marketing team at Shopify.

Therefore, she's decided to recap one of the most important chapters of the book called "Performance Cheat Sheet (https://www.safaribooksonline.com/library/view/lean-websites/9781457192883/ch12.html)", a chapter designed to be a kind of performance cheat sheet, or, if you prefer, a set of 12 exercises to guide you in practicing web performance. The more frequently you apply the tips, the better you'll get at mastering performance issues and creating fast, lean websites.
