Interior monologue and evocative description of the immediate enviornment come easily to me - it's humor, plotting and dialogue that constitute the greatest challenge.
No other medium can match the written word for visceral impact - in storytelling, pyschological insights and enduring truths about the human condition
Time travel, alternate universes, psychological and existential horror not to mention off-the-wall humor.
Characters left to rust and mildew; plots emerging white-hot that cool to sludge brown, adventures not committed to. This all must stop, and the solution is (may be) the good 'ole writers group. It worked before - and it could again.
Folks encompassed various levels (and genres). I'm hoping to make the regular weekly group, and see how it works out. I'm encouraged by what I've experienced.
