Monthly Hackathon

Let's get together and bang some technology around. I'll try to find us a location during the day or early evening to sit down with laptops and whiteboards and work on some interesting problems or new technologies.

Some things I would suggest (and will participate in):

• Facebook Presto tire-kicking
• Storm and Trident use cases (near-real-time recommendation systems)
• LinkedIn Databus running in YARN
• Spark and/or Spark Streaming on YARN
• ?
