Solution Scrum at BNotions - 7pm Nov 28 2013

Folks,
Happy Thanksgiving to those US members celebrating it.
Tonight's session will be an interactive whiteboard session for those:
1. Presenting a solution design to an existing problem using Hadoop or related tech
2. Who pose a problem to which they have clearly defined business or technical requirements and think it may be solved with. Even simple items like "how do I age my logs out?" or "HMaster crashes on a particular node" or "Handling spikes with flume" as long as you actually face the problem.
3. Who have implemented Hadoop as a Solution Architect or Developer and can provide experienced opinions
The idea is to host a smaller group of people focused on actually using Hadoop rather than just learning about it. Some of us have daily challenges with this work so please keep the "what is Hadoop?" questions for other sessions. Ideally, if you are coming you intend to participate.
The whiteboard will be open for anyone who wants a turn. Ideally we want to keep the initial description of the solution or challenge to 15-20minutes. Open conversation can ensue for about 10mins. Then we will move onto the next solution.
This is an experiment to see how productive a session like this can be with the current THUG group. When I have done this in the US most people found this useful. Frankly, this is a good way to separate who is a user and who is a moonlighter.
