We know you're out there. The ones who dominate at Trivial Pursuit. The ones who love to confidently, almost tauntingly whisper the questions before the Jeapoardy contestentants have even signaled in. The ones who love to add wonderfully useless background information to what otherwise would be a very productive conversation. You are out there and we salute you.

You now have a home to finally put all that useless trivia to work. Each week our teams of dedicated trivia junkies, compete at some of the best local pubs in Toronto.

Each Trivia night is hosted by a live host (no virtual hosts here compadre!) who will take you through several rounds of trivia exploration. Team captains write down answers in an answer booklet after the team comes to some sort of consensus (we use the the term loosely).

Rounds include a short answer round, a multiple choice round, a name that image round and for all you music fans, a "Name that Tune" round. Teams then exchange booklets while the host reads out the answers. Teams are awarded points each week until at the end of every 12 week season a Masters of the Quiz title is bestowed on the glorious winners.

I work for PubStumpers so I´m pretty biased when I say these Trivia Nights are the best in the city. Best in the country. Best in the universe.

Each week your participating pub will provide a variety of small prizes including t-shirts, appetizers and small non-domestic animals to be used in whatever post game ritual you may engage in. *Please note. This is not a Buzz Time/NTN group. This group is about socializing with living, breathing humans not a TV screen.

Be forewarned. Each week we get requests to make the questions a little bit easier, the music clips slightly more mainstream, the movie questions a little less obscure. We say to these people, "Perhaps you would like us to go to work for you as well? Maybe shovel your driveway this winter? Pick up your dry cleaning?¨ Suck it up people. We didn't say "Calling All Trivia Dilettantes". We don't use the word Junkies lightly.

So are you up to the challenge? Come out and see for yourself. Sign up on your own or bring a few of your less intelligent friends. Final teams will be sorted out each night.
