Please introduce yourself :)

Hi, I'm always looking for chances to meet up with Japan enthusiasts :) Well I've always enjoyed learning Japanese, and it's fun to meet others who are learning and to get to practice. I always enjoy practicing Japanese with native speakers at the weekly meetups, and it's always fun to meet people you have that in common with. There are a lot of things I'd like to get out of the group. Definitely improving my Japanese is always a goal I have, and I like to socialize with people too. It's interesting if I learn more about the culture too of course. That usually goes hand in hand with learning new words, since language and culture are tied together. I'd like to meet more Japan enthusiasts, practice Japanese, and make friends. Likewise, I hope I can provide something useful to the group dynamic.

Why did you start studying Japanese/English?

Originally I heard Japanese music, and loved the sound of the words.

I am an assistant organizer of the meetup group [nihonLA] and always happy to meet people interested in Japanese language.
