Portland Sunday Parkways (9 mi) - Not an ADA sponsored ride

  • Aug 25, 2013 · 11:00 AM

This is not an ADA sponsored event.

This is a FREE monthly ride in different sections of Portland, where PBOT closes car access for bicycles. This neighborhood ride typically attracts thousands of casual cyclists.

How about getting some Tour de Cure exposure by having a peloton (group) of riders in Tour jerseys? (Tour, Team Red, Red Rider). This is a casual, slow ride, where the mindset is on maximum visibility, minimum speed. Ride as a group, and stay as a group.

There is no beginning or end point, so anyone who wants to get together as a group will need to coordinate a meeting location on the route.

The August Ride

The August ride is in Southeast Portland, between Laurelhurst, Colonel Summers, Ivon, and Mt Tabor Parks..
