Hi folks!

**Sunday** First up: an O-fficial Traction meetup at the Durham Eno Quarry.  Come cool down with fellow Tractivists and share issues in water quality that impact everything from drinking water to farming to poverty.  Please bring ideas to share and some energy to swim!  Check it out here:

AND!  There's tons going on, much more than we can make an official event.  But we would be remiss if we didn't include the occasional excellent activity as a heads up.  That's what our FYI calendar is for.  We'll add things to it as we hear about events (let us know if you'd like something on it!), and let you know every few weeks about excellent un-official activities some of our members will be at.  As a reminder, you can always check out the official and FYI google calendars (or subscribe to it) at

Examples coming up:

Also water related, the Ellerbe Creek water shed is hosting its 12th Annual Beaver Queen Pageant. Music, bubbles, drag, hooping, outdoor stuff.  Go have a picnic.  Saturday at 4. drag.

Tuesday, June 5th Reps from Occupy Raleigh and Move to Amend will approach the Raleigh City Council about a local resolution against Citizens United. The council meets on the second floor of 222 W. Hargett St.  Help Raleigh become the next city to stand up to big money in politics! If you wanna come, register at the link below.  If you can't make it in person on Tuesday, please consider sending a personal note to or to your individual council member.  Signs will be available for people to pin to their shirts to show your support - so please plan to meet her outside the building at 6:45pm to collect a sign. The main contact for this action is Stacie Borrello at 919-996-9208.

Lastly, look forward to a Blueberry picking event in the works, among other June activities.   Have a great month - maybe we can help you include something progressive and social in it. :)

See ya,
