Tell us a little about your cooking background and interests.

I grew up in the restaurant business so food has always been center stage! Growing up we always had a big garden and I inherently knew that food fresh from the dirt was best! I was taught to cook by my father who learned from his mother. I feel that I have a palette that knows flavors and which flavors would marry well with another. My interests def have ties to old ways like folk medicine-healing with what you have on hand. Im inspired by Juliette de Bairacli Levy, D.C Jarvis, Royal Lee. Now that I have more time I'd like to get more involved with food politics for sure! Plus I love to eat!

What are the best days/times for you to meetup?

Mon/Tues wknds day/evenings. I can make my schedule flexible

What are you interested in learning?

Fermentation is a big interest.

Would you be willing to share a skill or recipe with others? If so, please describe.

In California I learned how to make tinctures and Herbal oils topical and internal uses, medicinal vinegars, bone soups! I have some really cool recipes for those and also how to incorporate them in baking and cooking
