Love nature? Like to get dirty? Muddy? Wet? Then let's hit the trails!

Primary runs will be weekends on the Bull Run - Occoquan Trail. Trailheads and distances will vary depending on time of day, trail/weather conditions, and participants experience. I'm currently at a beginner to intermediate distance and time (about 11:00 / mile) but always increasing and challenging. Will always be a mixture of both short and long runs with the "Run/Walk" method of training used.

Each person will be responsible for their own water, food, and transportation.

As the group grows we can explore other areas such as Burke Lake and W&OD Trail.

[PS...the dirty-muddy-wet part is only if we go out after/in bad weather...Mostly very clean, safe, and pleasant time]

What members are saying

It's a good experience and a way to enjoy nature, and get a work-out at the same time.

If you are training for an upcoming race, track workouts are perfect for working on speed and doing bleachers will help with endurance.
