Willing to drive on condition the alarmists all put their seats down so they cannot see out the windows as I drive. On the other hand my pick-up truck only holds two and the seats don't recline. Participating as both passenger and driver if the case should arise is OK with me.
Parents taught me to put it in my pocket and take it home to throw away. Still do.
Yes. Being an urban hermit, the expenses of outdoor adventure will be new for me and I eagerly anticipate learning the social range of expectation.

This is only my second trip. There were three others with us, Julia, Cindy, and Christi, this time who were also on the Boulder River hike whom I met as a guest. Personally, I enjoyed the brief dialog I had with several of our participants and I pray my company was as enjoyable to them as theirs was with me. I wish my short term memory was as good as it way when younger; else I would be able to name every one I met to give them my gratitude now.
