Defense Against the Dark Arts ~ Qi Festival Preview

Details
Ninja Army-
Every Jedi Ninja has his master. In fact, every single person has a master except for the enlightened ones. For the rest of us, we must make a choice (whether we realize we are making that choice or not, we do!)
Some choose alcohol or pot as their master, to numb their pain, others are addicted to obsessive compulsive behavior; some pray to the god of suffering, getting their emotional needs met by practicing pain (Crossfit anyone? Yoga?).
Well this ninja has served all of these inferior masters in the past. So I am grateful to have found a real master, Sifu Sat Chuen Hon of the Dragon Gate Lineage of Taoism.
I have the honor or presenting along side him at this powerful initiation, "Defense Against the Dark Arts".
Healers often encounter clients filled with pain, anger and in some cases, dark entities—remnants of dark forces lurking beneath these symptoms. In treating patients, these harmful energies are transferred to healers causing fatigue and in extremely rare cases fatal pathologies.
Traditional Taoist shamanic healers are equipped with a repertoire of defense techniques: creating sacred space, psychic cleansing and, simply stated, a form of exorcism.
Perhaps you don't consider yourself a healer. Remember, we all most support each other, even a smile can make you a healer, or being a good listener. The mere fact that you have to interact and engage with people on a daily basis means that you are exchanging energy with them, and very often these exchanges leave you drained.
In this Qi Festival prequel, we will learn Soul Cleansing 5 Thunder Palms. This cleansing technique draws on the sacred forces and can be used on oneself as well as others to help eradicate the dark energy and malevolent spirits.
All are welcome and everyone can benefit from this form of Qigong, but it is particularly useful for healers and health professionals.
