What’s better than sand between your toes, the scent of the ocean air and a little dance, food, perhaps some yoga and connecting with like-minded spirits?!!

Join me and Sohaila Handelsman in a celebration of your femininity, and a revitalization of your body, mind & spirit – on the beach at Torrey Pines State Beach!

Sohaila is a world renowned professional Belly Dance artist with over 35 years of Belly Dance performance and teaching experience. An award winning director and choreographer performing on major entertainment stages across the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and Latin America.

Along with being a world class dance instructor, Sohaila has developed programs that empower women through the art of movement and self-awareness.

Debra will guide you through the fun exploration process of "What Makes My Heart Sing?" to better connect you with the parts of you that you've been leaving behind. Who knows what powerful messages or surprises you'll see!

3:00 - 6:00 +- Main Event
6:00-Sunset - Group Potluck and Sunset

David & I will arrive bright and early with our motorhome, as usual, to grab a spot parallel to the beach - offering you a place to change your clothes and a restroom, as needed.

Bring a dish to share if you’d like to partake in the group potluck.

FEE: Suggested $10-20 Donation

WHAT TO BRING:
A beach chair or something to sit on. Comfy clothes. A towel or mat for our yoga/dance on the beach. Bring layers, including a jacket, in case it gets cool. Your favorite dish to share for the potluck. And, yourself!

PARKING / HOW TO FIND US:
We'll be getting one of the few parallel motorhome spaces towards the middle of the beach. We'll have a windsock with a red heart on it flying to help you in locating us.

You are welcome to drop off your chairs, food, etc. and then get a place to park so you don't have to walk with all your gear in hand.

There is free parking parallel to the beach. (TIP: Before you leave your home, visualize a parking space opening up for you!) Usually, if you're willing to wait a few minutes, a space will open up.

There is also a parking lot at the south end of the beach for about $12 / day.
