Future Day, 1 March, is a global phenomenon. Our goal is to have Future Day adopted as an official holiday by governments on all levels around the world for the global population to consider the future of humanity.

This year, Future Day in Sydney will be celebrated at Deloitte, Level 11, 225 George St, Sydney NSW 2000.

Scott O'Brien - Augmented Reality Sydney

As an Augmented Reality (AR) pioneer since 2009, Scott has seen AR move from "magic show" to functional use cases. In 2015, Scott built AR into a "whites of the eyes", "handshake conversation", an integral and fun part of daily social habit zones (proxemics). Peter Simpson-Young - Neurotechnologist and Research Officer at MND Australia

Peter Simpson-Young is a graduate in Neuroscience, Psychology and Philosophy from the University of Sydney, and studies Health Technology Innovation at the Charles Perkins Centre, Sydney. Peter has worked and experimented with a range of neurotechnologies, such EEG, Brain-Computer-Interfaces (BCIs), and transcranial electrical stimulation (tES) techniques. Neurotechnologies are having a substantial impact on research and treatments for diseases, and are being developed into consumer devices to help those outside the medical setting. Dr James Jansson - Science Party

Dr James Jansson is the leader of the Science Party and co-founder of fintech and mediatech startup, ZipSub. He studied mathematics and later teaching at the University of Sydney. He did a short stint teaching in a disadvantaged school in western Sydney. Since then, James has completed his PhD in mathematical modelling of HIV disease progression and epidemiology. http://scienceparty.org.au/
