Neighborhood initiatives are at the heart of a successful local Transition movement. Come meet your Transition-minded neighbors, and begin working with them as we explore the basics of neighborhood-related Transition.
Food to share: Vegetarian, vegan, carne all ok. Any dish (main, side, dessert, etc) ok. Please make it as local/sustainable as is practical. Please also list ingredients on an index card (for folks with food allergies, etc).
Site fee: $2 if you bring a dish, $5 if you don't. Children free.
Children: Always welcome, with legal parent/guardian.
Schedule & Program:
6:00 pm - Doors open. Greet, set up food, socialize.
6:15ish - Dinner, announcements, and more socializing.
6:45ish - Dinner wrap-up, wrap-up announcements.
7:00 - MAIN PROGRAM

We'll group ourselves by neighborhood for eating and stay together at neighborhood tables until time for the Wrap-Up & Closing. We'll have a presentation of basic Transition Neighborhoods information, with follow-up discussion and project(s) at the neighborhood tables. Each table will then present its project as part of the wrap-up & closing. The follow-up project will be kid-friendly. Watch this space for more details!
