Jay Butera, founder of One Million Calls For Clean Energy and winner of Penn Future's 2010 Green Power Award will present “U.S. Energy Options – What Should We Do Now?” Butera will describe what he thinks a clean energy world could look like, how we can get there, and why we must start the transition right now.He will discuss questions such as: Has Oil Peaked? Where does nuclear fit into the picture? Can coal be clean? What’s really stopping clean energy? What’s the single most important thing every citizen should do? His answers might surprise you. Join us for this engaging presentation and for a lively discussion session.

Jay Butera is a speaker, writer, entrepreneur and clean energy advocate. His talks on energy, climate and sustainability have engaged audiences throughout the country with upbeat thinking about why the transition to clean energy will usher in man’s most exciting age on discovery. He is a graduate of Brown University who has independently studied energy issues and policy for over twenty years.
