I decided to start the group because women experience Postpartum Depression. It is real and support is out there. It is the silent depression/ anxiety that society does not talk about. This group offers women and families support, encouragement and friendship. Share your story, receive validation, learn tips and gain education. Support other mothers by listening and sharing. Anyone can join this group regardless of how many children you have. This is a confidential non judgemental support group where moms offer moms support.

We are growing and have been working with people outside of the group also. Our goal is to have a continuous support group and also be able to communicate with others that are going through similar issues on the website. Feel free to post information under (discussions) and or under (pages). We look forward to building a supportive environment with you and appreciate your comments and questions.

I think the group will be a wonderful way for moms to communicate with each other, develop friendships even if they are only online and establish playmates for their children.  We can share information and provide support and validation to others. We offer support and resources but are unable to provide extensive counseling. We are able to provide referrals and recommendations but not medical advice.  If you have an immediate emergency please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room. Our group can provide you with tools while trying to empower women to do their own work towards their recovery. If you have any questions feel free to contact us or post any information to the other moms.  Welcome and we look forward to working with  you all.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
