Can you agree to conducting yourself in respectful and civil manner as you engage in thoughtful dialogue across political divides in search of win-win solutions to the issues we all care about?

The American character already contains several dynamic opposites. It is the job of each generation to choose a balance point in many issues. I enjoy debate, which I find most useful to me when I discover my original position has been changed.

What does transpartisan mean to you?

Becoming one of the "adults in the room". To quote an attribute often ascribed to one of my software technology heroes; Bill Joy, co-founder of SUN Microsystems, a quiet, humble, living genius and geek god.

What most closely identifies your political point of view?

Social progressive, fiscal conservative, Ralph Nader supporter with an increasing tendency toward local small government libertarianism. I guess in a word; open-minded, solutions based.

What is your primary website, social network or blog?

Numerous.

Introduction
