Multi-Modal Show & Tell

Though WMATA is seen as handling the bulk of the DC region's transit, there are many other smaller transit systems. Ideally, apps should be able to integrate all the systems to make it easier for riders to navigate the region using public transportation. We'll hear from engineers and programmers behind TransitScreen, RideScout, Redmon, OneBusAway, and others who have created tools and visualizations that aggregate data from multiple transit systems.

Interesting presentations on innovative ways transportation data is being used. I'm looking forward to next month's meet up on transport and health.

Hmm. I didn't realize there would be a capacity limit. I work on Transportation Planning, forecasting, and Data Analysis, and spent years supporting the ITS JPO program. Would really like to be included.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
