This group & the Clinics seen at your right are dedicated to wholistic health and wellness, as well as to resolving any possible pain ~ whether physical or emotional. We begin with the most direct methods, and as is good medicine, also consider other aspects of life.
We look at essential biological factors as seen in lab tests, and consider other basics such as physical trauma; and always we consider stress and its amelioration.
Then for example, we may consider emotional trauma (overt & known, or suppressed) as possibly playing a role in etiology and symptoms.

The name of my clinic is Family Stress & Pain Clinic. We've done much work with PTSD -- we were first in the Midwest to treat PTSD, having won five contracts with the V.A. to treat post-traumatic stress syndrome. Most people realize PTSD is about war trauma; some realize it also relates to other intense and traumatic occurrences, with which we've worked as well.
I've been a psychotherapist for some years, and in the year 2000, added a Doctor's degree in Naprapathic Medicine; I suppose that makes me an old therapist and a new doctor.
My main medical interest is cutting-edge laboratory testing, with targeted natural intervention; and also work in conjunction with customary conventional medicine.
My psychotherapeutic modalities are Individual, Family and Group Therapy, Hypnotherapy, LifeScript, Gestalt-work, Interactional-transactional analysis, Biofeedback. Structural bodywork or body psychotherapy may be employed. And developed since 1989, is facilitating greater connection with one's own Inner core of awareness.
Only those approaches each patient wants, needs, is ready for & will gain from, are utilized. Treatment is built upon each patient's personal abilities, preferences and strengths.
I've been thinking for some time about beginning a PTSD Meetup, and a Chronic Pain group, utilizing my two fields, Psychotherapy and Mind-Body integrative medicine.
I'm in touch with a severe intractable migraine patient, a friend of mine. We have been moving toward her dealing with her condition not only via Pain Management, and now advanced lab testing, but now also her conceptualizing Family-Psychological factors relating to early emotional events and traumas.

Trauma may cause or worsen physiological or emotional injury, relationship difficulties, symptoms and pain. And chronic pain itself can bring about severe emotional upset, obviously.
Let's unravel, untie loosen or break any chains that may bind or injure. Any other interested people out there?
Plz feel free to join in.
