Uber (https://www.uber.com/) rides to and from Travel 2.0!

http://photos3.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/c/3/e/8/600_336350152.jpeg

We're thrilled to have partnered with the on demand transportation service Uber to provide new Uber users a free ride (up to $20) to or from Travel 2.0!

How does it work? Using Uber's free iPhone/Android/Blackberry 7 app, you can request a pickup and a car driven by a professional driver will show up in minutes. Your credit card is billed directly for your trip and there's no need to tip, so you won't need to carry cash. You can even see the car coming towards you on a map!

Follow these simple steps to get $20 off your ride:

  1. Download the free Uber iPhone/Android/Blackberry 7 app (or sign up at uber.com/go/Travel20NY (https://www.uber.com/go/Travel20NY))

  2. Enter your information in the Uber app and promo code Travel20NY when you sign up.

  3. Request a ride 5 - 15 minutes before you need one. $20 will be applied towards your first ride on uberX, UberBLACK, or UberSUV (excluding uberT, US only).

Questions? Check out http://uber.com/nyc or email supportNY@uber.com .

We'll be hosted again by The Hatchery (http://www.hatchery.vc/) in their space at MicroOffice (http://www.microoffice.com/), centrally located for your convenience in Times Square.
