If you want to travel but don't want to pay single supplement, enjoy socialising and making new friends, then Travelling Social Group (TSG) could be the group for you.
Our purpose is to find people to travel with and save $$$ by sharing. Socialising and short breaks away can prepare us for longer sojourns. All welcome, singles, couples and all nationalities. A clear photo of yourself on your profile is required.
There is a $15 annual fee to enable this group to flourish, payable on joining, then annually, preferably by direct credit to the dedicated TSG account: BSB 013322, Acc 289268998 in name of Kathleen Bajsar but can be paid in cash at an event.

Important: By joining you agree to treat other members with respect and tolerance and to refrain from negative behaviours. Zero tolerance applies. Please note that if after being cautioned for transgressions, your profile will be removed.
Members must become active within the first 3 months and continue participation at least quarterly. Non-participation in group activities constitutes inactivity and profile may be removed.
If unable to attend an event, please contact the Host or Organiser by phone as up to 3 no-shows will result in removal of your profile from the group.

Travelling Social Group Men and Women 50 and Over (TSG) is a club which aims to bring people together to make friends and find travel buddies through socialising using the Meetup platform to do so.
BY JOINING THIS GROUP YOU AGREE TO THE CONDITIONS BELOW.
Members must satisfy themselves that the event they are attending will be within their physical capabilities and within their personally accepted risk profile before taking part. All members who participate in TSG scheduled events do so at their own risk.
TSG members acknowledge that by joining and attending scheduled events that they have read and understood these conditions. TSG Organisers and Event Hosts offer no advice nor accept responsibility for the welfare of members or guests. It is understood that as adults, all care will be taken to safeguard and be responsible for oneself at all times.
Members of TSG who bring one or two guests to a TSG event are responsible for alerting their guests to this disclaimer and be satisfied that they have read, understood and accepted/acknowledged these conditions also.
No insurance or assurance for any TSG events is offered and organisers and event hosts shall not be held liable nor have to compensate a TSG member or their guest in any way.
The Organisers, Event Hosts or ordinary members cannot be held accountable for any financial loss, injury, death or otherwise that may occur as a result of an event advertised on the calendar.
Members of this group also need to be aware that the Organisers are not professional travel agents, volunteer their time, have no control over the members in this group and therefore cannot be held responsible for any mishaps or altercations be they verbal, physical or via email, which may occur as a result of utilising this medium to enhance their social life and travel options. These issues will need to be resolved by the parties involved.
When appropriate, the Organiser or Assistant Organiser may approach those who transgress and the Organiser may remove their profiles or ban them from the group. The Organiser may nominate this role to an Assistant Organiser after consultation.
Members who receive emails via the TSG group site requesting their personal contact details should immediately contact support@meetup.com and the Organiser as these requests may be from scamming groups and not TSG members.
