THIS IS AN ALCOHOL FRIENDLY ISLAND

No need to fly to the Bahamas for an island escape. Lets head to this island paradise surrounded by shallow, clear water which has been Palm Beach County's own tropical party island.

This wee island is an unmatched spot for a picnic, BBQ party. It's got nature trails, Tiki Huts, BBQ's, tables, rest room's, showers, snorkel lagoon or snorkel the man made reef on the open water east side. There is a full camping area and there's even a nuclear bomb shelter!!!

We are going to be hanging out by the snorkeling lagoon (south-east side) under the huge Tiki Hut pictured above where we'll have a BBQ, snorkel, hike, sun worship and do any other activities that the island allows. High tide will be at 12:00pm so the best snorkeling is from 11am- shortly after 1:pm

EVERYONE CONTRIBUTES SOMETHING!!!
Meat, Covered Dishes, Fruit, Veggies, Buns, Desserts, Snacks, ALCOHOLIC/NON-ALCOHOLIC Beverages, Water, Stocked Cooler, and other beach and picnic essentials. If everyone contributes there would be less things to bring!

When you RSVP simply state in your comment what and how much you are bringing, so everyone can get an idea of what they should bring.

As this island is only accessible by boat you can kayak, rowboat or hitch a ride via Captain Joe's water taxi at Riviera Beach Marina. Round trip Ticket is $10.00 per person.

The first ferry over with Capt Joe will be at 9:30AM and the last ferry back will be at 6PM DO NOT MISS THE BOAT it is a long swim

Take I95 to 45th st exit and go east. Make a left on Broadway. Take Broadway till you go over the large overpass and then make a right on 13th st into the parking lot.
