What type kayak(s) do you own (or can borrow)?

I have a Currrent Designs Breeze 13.5' Sea Touring Kayak.

What is your most interesting kayaking experience?

A person inflatable kayak on 15 miles of the Snake River in Wyoming last month was the most interesting kayaking experience so far.

What would you like to see this group do?

I have just signed on as the new organizer of the Cleveland Sea Kayakers. In a reorganizing mode now. Just did the Cleveland Air Show. Seeing the Blue Angels 100 feet overhead is an amazing experience. It would be great to have an annual outing exchange. Your group comes to Cleveland and we go to Cincinnatti.

Where are your favorite places to kayak?

I primarily do Ohio Lakes and rivers. Regularly launch from Whiskey Island offers a huge variety of paddling experiences. Can paddle inside or outside the break wall, or go 3.5 miles out to the Crib water intake for open water, to the Rock and Roll Harbor, west to several beach destinations (Edgewater Beach, Brad Street Landing, Rocky River or Huntington Beach) for a turnaround picnic, or paddle the Cuyahoga River and deal with occasional ship traffic. Recommend an experience level of ACA Level 1 Kayaking or equal. Whiskey Island launches are not recommended for canoeing.
