What Is This Event?

Welcome! This is a business-networking meeting. We love to have visitors at our business-networking meetings, and non-members may come to one GoRampUp OpenConnect networking meeting at no charge!

If You Are a Member…

Our networking meetings are for members of GoRampUp, and our one-time non-member guests. If you are a member of GoRampUp you may attend any and all OpenConnect meetings. You do not need to use the RSVP function.

If You Are Not a Member…

If you are not a member, and have never been to a GoRampUp networking meeting, you’re welcome and encouraged to come once to one of our OpenConnect meetings.

What is GoRampUp?

We are a business-impact community. We help you develop mastery with business networking, business performance, and personal development. The very best fast way to learn what and who we are is to watch the four short videos on our home page (http://gorampup.com).

What Happens in the Meeting?

Our meetings are fun, informative, and professionally consistent! Your meeting Guide will open by letting you know the agenda. After that each person will be given time, without distraction, to introduce themselves, let us know if they are a guest or a member, tell us how they help people professionally, and let us know a specific power-partner they are seeking. When this is happening, everyone else is paying close attention and completing introduction/referral slips for follow-up at the end of the meeting.

After that we have an educational section where we learn some immediately-applicable new skill that will directly advance us toward our goals. This is accomplished by a mini-workshop led by the meeting Guide!

Near the end of the meeting any visitors are excused to meet with the meeting Facilitator who will briefly, and without any pressure, inform visitors of the details of membership and answer their questions. While that is happening, inside the meeting the group will share announcements.

The meeting will then close, everyone will be welcomed to exchange business cards, collateral, introduction/referral slips, and to schedule 1-to-1 follow-up meetings if they would like to do so. This includes guests!

Candidly, it’s challenging to convey in printed words the unique buzz that is the GoRampUp trademark. Be sure to come out and try one if you never have!
