Annual Charity Event This Wed - Great Beer For a Great Cause

This Wednesday night we will be meeting at LoneRider Brewing Co. for their annual charity event to benefit The Triangle Spokes Group. TriBeer has been a big supporter of this event and charity over the years and I would like to ask everyone who can make it to please RSVP and come out, even if you can only enjoy a quick pint. This is for a really great cause and your contribution is substantial.

I wanted to share a bit about this event, Triangle Spokes Group and LoneRider and let everyone know why I support this endeavor and would ask you to do the same. To me the biggest factor is that 100% of all money raised by Triangle Spokes Group goes directly to buying new bikes for underprivileged children. The organizers of this charity work completely for free. There are no administrative costs and even the labor to build the bikes is donated. So you can feel confident that every dollar you donate helps buy a bike. Another strong contributing factor to my support is the folks at LoneRider. This event has become far and away the biggest and most important money maker for this organization every year. LoneRider donates 100% of all profits made on the beers sold as well as opening their doors for this great event. Even the money spent at the food trucks goes toward the charity. Each year they are able to raise thousands of dollars from this one event and provide many happy children with a new bike for Christmas. It even gets better. Because Triangle Spokes Group can not provide bikes to every child in the area that needs one, they are highly selective. Only children who have younger siblings that can one day inherit the bike are eligible. So it really is the gift that keeps on giving!

If you would like more info on this organization or wish to make an online donation, please visit www.TriangleSpokesGr Thanks for taking the time to read this and I hope to see many of you out on Wed night. I can't think of a better way to enjoy a pint than to see the proceeds help a child get their Christmas wish. I can also assure you that this event is also a blast and everyone will have a great time. Cheers!
