Brighton Beach open water swim

Open water swim at For Grimaldo's Chair, exit station onto Brighton Beach Ave and take 6th St to boardwalk
Walk south on boardwalk past Cafe Volna to the concrete gazebo
Swimmers meet behind Grimaldo's chair, which is located on the beach beyond the gazebo
What:
This is for average to experience open water swimmers. We will join the Cibbows club, we will swim in group but you can choose your distance from ¼ mile to the full loop 3 mile, we will rely on the life gards for everyone's safety.
Last weekend we did 1.5 mile in very choppy water. It doesn’t get any more open water than this. This is a great confidence booster. Once you’ve done this the lake will feel like a big bathtub.

Thunders and bad water condition will cancel.
