Zara Khan I got your email today actually sorry I was unable to help you out with a ride to the event. I had to work that weekend and was unable to go. Glad it was fun for all who went. :)

Hi everyone. Is there someone who can give me a ride from Greensboro? My best friend's car went out of order today so I don't have a ride. :( I live at East Washington Street, Greensboro...

I put a date, however each person will need to contact the stable to reserve his or her horse and pay. Also, if they are able to schedule us in at ten o'clock. It depends on the schedule. Those who can and do reserve horses for the 26th put the time you reserved your horse. Aim for around ten oclock so we can all ride.

this place is pretty neat, I went for a trail ride a couple weekends ago. I'm guessing the best size group to go out would be about 8 and it might be dependent on number of horses they have available that day. the trail ride is walking only, great for beginners new to horses. the trail guides are pretty fun, ours told some funny jokes along the way. Also the price is really good for a trail ride.

sounds like whoever wants to organize just needs to pick a date and a time. If I remember correctly the ride is $20-25 (and it is customary to tip your trail guide a few "bucks" - pun intended) The stables are in Tanglewood Park.

also whoever wants to organize it, we should call ahead with the number of people that are definitely coming. I am pretty sure they can take about 8 people at a time. One idea would be to go on a saturday or sunday afternoon in 2 groups and bring a picnic potluck!

How timely! I've been wanting to go horseback riding for a while. I've been on horses when I was little (like at the fair, etc), but never for more than a few minutes! I look forward to meeting new people as well.

It's been a while since I've been in the saddle and I keep telling myself I need to ride again. This will be an excellent opportunity!

When would depend on if people are interested and when the stable can schedule the ride. Sometime later this month or early next month would be my thinking. Need to know how many horses to reserve so asap if interested.
