It's that time of year again!

I'll provide everything you need to inoculate a log for shiitake mushrooms (including the log) for $15.00/log,

or you can bring and inoculate your own logs with my spawn and supplies for $10.00/log.

If you bring your own log, bring a sweet gum or oak log that was cut from a live tree, about 4-8 inches in diameter and about 4 ft long. Make sure it's fresh: cut it between Feb 20 and the day of the workshop.

The workshop will take approximately 2 hours (noon to 2pm). BYOB and we'll have happy hour on the porch afterwards, weather permitting. Hope to see you! if you have any questions, send me a message or call me at[masked]-7940.

I thought it was outstanding, very informative. Another perfect example of how simple something can be if you have the right teacher.

Hope it's okay to bring my 18 year old. He just wants to see how to do it and hang out. :-)

How feasible would it be to leave early from this? We would really love to do this but my boyfriend works at 2:30. Will it take the full 2 hours?

No problem. When you get here, remind me that you need to be on the fast track, and we'll get it done so you can leave in time.
