Film showing: Within Reach: Journey to find Sustainable Community

Within Reach documents one couple’s pedal-powered journey across the United States in search of a new home in sustainable community. Mandy and Ryan gave up their corporate jobs and traditional houses to "bike-pack" thousands of miles, looking around as they looked within. Their journey answers a question that many are asking:
Is it possible for all of us to live in a sustainable way? After circling the country and talking with over 20,000 people they found that not only is it possible but it’s already underway... Co-Producer & Editor Derek Alan Rowe will share his experience making the film in discussion after the showing. Suggested donation: $5 – Free to un/underemployed & students. (we pass the hat for donations, but no one turned away).

Come early and check out Recyclique, our upcycling co-op’s retail shop, featuring refurbished goods, sustainability products/books, vintage, fair trade, local crafts

I am interested in bee keeping and have an odd work schedule where i cannot get to a lot of classes on a regular basis. Is there anyone out in the beekeeper realm who would be willing to take me under their wing to learn and get a little hands on training on how to do this effectively and safely? Thanks MIKE
