Try your hand on some beautifully –prepared, ready-to-spin, mohair-wool blend roving. Whether it’s your first time spinning or just something unique to try, you will enjoy adding this special yarn to your projects. The mohair is raised at the instructor’s Blue Bird Meadow Fiber Farm in Durham. Participants can visit the farm as a follow up.
Cost: $16 for city of Durham resident and $21 for non city residents

This program is located at the Environmental Education Center. Follow the park road around (it is a one-way street) to the second parking lot. The building is the old blacksmith shop. Parking is free.
