We are pleased to announce that the Sisters For Your Journey Big Hat – Bowtie Brunch will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2012. This high tea afternoon will be held at the Renaissance Hotel North Hills, Raleigh, North Carolina. The Big Hat - Bowtie Brunch will truly establish itself as a premier event in Raleigh and we invite you to join us to celebrate the most creative and spectacular brunch experience in Raleigh to date!

Hosted by Valanda Calloway, My NC Today and Featuring Special Guest David and Tamela Mann, award winning actors and stars of "Meet The Browns." You will not want to miss a special soulful musical performance by Tamela Mann.

Our organization has partnered with Saint Augustine's College, Raleigh, North Carolina Department of Journalism and Mass Communication to endow scholarships and develop mentoring programs for minority women. Sisters for Your Journey, believes in uplifting our young women by connecting them with viable resources, which will foster a learning experience that is conducive to their education.

The money we raise this year will enable us to raise scholarship dollars for our “Diamond Scholarship Fund” which is used to assist Raleigh college students in pursuing higher education. We expect this year’s extravaganza to have over 200 guests attending this very elite afternoon and we look forward to having you among them. The afternoon will feature an exquisite brunch, spoken word, fashion show, great soulful music....and so much more!
